Mets settle suit with woman injured by falling fat man at Shea

Fat’s all, folks! A woman who had her back broken by a falling fat guy at Shea Stadium has settled her big buck lawsuit against the Mets, court records show.

Ellen Massey blamed the team for her injuries, contending they knew or should have known the drunken 300-pound fan five rows above her was a problem, and they did nothing to stop him from tormenting the other people in her section.

That fan, Timothy Cassidy, denies he was drunk, but witnesses said he was so sloshed, he couldn’t even complete the “Let’s go Mets!” chant.

Doctor claims he can turn brown eyes blue

Ever wished you were the blue-eyed boy? You soon could be, after a doctor revealed he can permanently change a person’s eye colour in just 20 seconds.

Dr Gregg Homer, from Stroma Medical in California said his Lumineyes technology uses a laser tuned to a specific frequency to turn brown eyes to blue.

The laser energy removes the brown pigment, or melanin, from the top layer of the iris, and the blue eye colour emerges over the following two to three weeks.

A new study conducted by the Heritage Foundation and the American Enterprise Institute (AEI) finds that, contrary to popular belief, public-school teachers receive total compensation more than 50 percent greater than that of private sector employees – if you take into account benefits, job security, summer vacations and other factors.

“There’s a widespread belief among people — really across the political spectrum — from laymen, to politicians, to scholars, that existing teachers are underpaid in terms of their wages and benefits,” said Jason Richwine, Ph.D., senior policy analyst for empirical Studies at the conservative Heritage Foundation, and coauthor of the study.

“The reality is that it’s just not true,” Richwine said.

We’re used to seeing images of human faces in everything from mountains on Mars to pancake batter. But two scientists were surprised to see such a vision… in a testicular tumour.

The distressed face with a gaping mouth was spotted in the ultrasound scan of a 45-year-old man who had been suffering from testicular pain.

Presidential candidate Herman Cain was described as a ‘black man who knows his place’ by the GOP, at least that’s how one MSNBC analyst sees it to angry critics.

Democratic strategist and MSNBC analyst Karen Finney spoke freely Friday afternoon in an interview with host Martin Bashir to deliver her opinion on why Mr Cain has become the front-runner for republicans.

Ms Finney reasoned that Mr Cain ‘makes that white republican base of the party feel okay, feel like they are not racist because they can like this guy,’ she said.
