IRS Sent $46,378,040 in Refunds to 23,994 ‘Unauthorized’ Aliens at 1 Atlanta Address

irsThe Internal Revenue Service sent 23,994 tax refunds worth a combined $46,378,040 to “unauthorized” alien workers who all used the same address in Atlanta, Ga., in 2011, according to the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA).

That was not the only Atlanta address theoretically occupied by thousands of “unauthorized” alien workers receiving millions in federal tax refunds in 2011. In fact, according to a TIGTA audit report published last year, four of the top ten addresses to which the IRS sent thousands of tax refunds to “unauthorized” aliens were in Atlanta.

The IRS sent 11,284 refunds worth a combined $2,164,976 to unauthorized alien workers at a second Atlanta address; 3,608 worth $2,691,448 to a third; and 2,386 worth $1,232,943 to a fourth.

In a new trend sweeping a subculture of Christian families, husbands are taking to corporal punishment to keep their wives in line.

The trend is called Christian Domestic Discipline and much of what is known about the practice is published on the website Learning Domestic Discipline, published by husband and wife CDD duo, Clint and Chelsea.

Clint and Chelsea didn’t come up with the trend, but they did write the book on it – a 50-page packet on the practice called Beginning Domestic Discipline.

Pilot lands plane using IPAD after inflight navigation system fails

A pilot was forced to land his plane using an iPad app and his cell phone to help guide him to an airport after his navigation system malfunctioned on Tuesday.

Raymond Cody was flying a single-engine plane across western Colorado to Grand Junction Regional Airport when the instrument panel in his cockpit stopped working not long after take-off.

While his engine continued to work normally, the pilot quickly realized he would have no way of notifying airport officials as he approached his destination.

This rather usual looking character is Senhor Testiculo, which translates in English as Mr Testicle, he is the recently launched mascot of a Brazilian non-profit health organization which seeks to raise cancer awareness.

In case you hadn’t guessed already, Senhor Testiculo is focused on reminding men to check their scrotum for testicular cancer.

Cancer is a serious issue but that hasn’t stopped The Associação de Assistência às Pessoas com Câncer (Association for the Assistance of People with Cancer) in Viçosa a city in the Minas Gerais region from adopting this playful character.
