Anti-abortion COAT HANGERS used by dry cleaning firm

A family-run, dry-cleaning business has come under fire for putting pro-life messages on wire coat hangers.

Springdale Cleaners, which has ten branches in Ohio, has for five years returned clean clothes to customers with a paper hanger cover which reads: ‘Choose Life’ and has a picture of the owner’s baby granddaughter.

The business is owned by Paul Dehler, 66, and his wife Diane who have run the firm since 1969.

A&E Storage Wars David HesterSome of the valuables found hidden in abandoned lockers on A&E’s ‘Storage Wars’ have been added by producers to deceive viewers, a former cast member of the show claims in a lawsuit filed Tuesday.

David Hester’s suit claims producers have added a BMW Mini and newspapers chronicling Elvis Presley’s death to lockers in order to build drama for the show and that his complaints about the practices led to his firing.

Hester is seeking more than $750,000 in his wrongful termination, breach of contract and unfair business practices lawsuit.

A&E Television Network declined comment, citing the pending lawsuit.

A study involving 22 brands of lipstick found that 55per cent contained trace amounts of lead.

Underwriters Laboratories revealed that 12 of the lip products sampled tested positive for the toxic substance with the highest levels at 3.22 parts per million.

Commenting on the findings Dr Sean Palfrey, medical director for the Boston Lead Poisoning Prevention Program, warned that even low-level lead exposure poses a serious health risk and could affect mental health.

Man rats out his own mother to get drug charges against him thrown out

A New Mexico man arrested for vandalism tried to get out of his charges by snitching on his own mother to police, accusing her of being a drug dealer.

Acting on a tip that Vaughn Godwin was selling meth, police arrived at the residence he shares with his mother and discovered that 27-year-old had covered the walls with spray paint and smashed out windows.

According to the criminal complaint, Mr Vaughn told police it was in retaliation to his mother refusing to give him money.
