PIC BY ROGER SNIDER / CATERS NEWS – (PICTURED Incredible Japanese light trucks) – Talk about pimp my ride, these are the incredible £100,000 Japanese light trucks which look like they really are blings of the road. Decked out with thousands of light bulbs the trucks are the pride and joy of petrol heads across the Far East country. The vehicles have so many bulbs the electricity needed means they have to have extra generators fitted under the chassis and even then the lights can only be left on for about 20 minutes before they overheat. The blindingly brilliant trucks which are put together by whole families not just male enthusiasts are not road legal with their lights on – but hundreds gather every year to show off their latest modifications. These incredible pictures of the big rigs were taken in Japan by professional photographer Roger Snider. He visited a gathering of the trucks this year where owners came from all over to socialise and raise money for a childrens charity in Japan. SEE CATERS COPY
